Project Description

Journey to the west side of Vesterålen in a stunning 1 hour trip to a quiet and magical harbour. Here you will meet an experienced guide and photographer who will guide you through what you need to know about the white-tailed sea eagle and how to get the best picture of the spectacular bird.

Following this introduction you will be taken on a boat trip to the nearby archipelago right in amongst the amazing wildlife of the fjords. These islands are the home to the majestic white-tailed eagle. Be prepared to get very close to these giants when they approach the boat in search for a bite of fish! Following the boat trip you will return to the harbour house and be served a delicious hot fish soup and bread.

Duration of this trip (including pickup/dropoff from Sortland) is 5 hours and includes several photo stops on both legs of the journey. The scenery in this area is spectacular and you will hopefully return at the end of the day with lots of amazing photographs.
